Meet Dr. Ravi Doctor

Dr. Ravi Doctor was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After completing his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas.

He is an accredited fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologist, a fellow with American Dental Implant Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth Dental Society, American Dental Association, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is certified with the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the American Academy of Orthodontics. He was also honored in 2004 thru 2009 by being named Top Cosmetic Dentist in the Fort Worth, Texas Magazine in the Arlington and Southlake Area. Dr. Doctor has been practicing dentistry in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for over two decades. He opened his second location in Southlake, TX in 2008.


Dr. Doctor goes through over 200 hours a year of extensive continuing education programs. He is a member and graduate of the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.) in San Francisco, California –A group of dental professionals who share their extensive experience with dental reconstruction techniques. He has recently completed training at the Eubanks Teaching Institute in Plano, Texas that trains dentists from around the world. They instruct them in the skills that create cosmetic, physiological and emotional wellbeing for patients, and also teach dentists the latest techniques to resolve TMJ and bite problems.

Dr. Doctor strongly believes in “giving back.” He has participated in a number of volunteer programs. He volunteers at Mission Arlington and at the Dental Health for Arlington Clinic which assists the economically disadvantaged. He participates in the Save-A-Smile program through Cooks Children’s Hospital which focuses on assisting underprivileged children. He is also a member of Give Back a Smile through AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). He has provided free smile makeovers to women being sponsored through GraceGrapevine.org and often travels abroad on mission trips to provide dental care to people in need.
