Meet Dr. Pamela Medici

Dr. Pamela Medici grew up in Lytle, Texas, a small town just south of San Antonio, Texas. The daughter of a part-time cattle rancher, Dr. Medici spent most of her formative years on the ranch.

In December 1989, Dr. Medici received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from St. Mary’s University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In early 1990, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center- San Antonio, where she graduated four years later with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Following graduation from UTHSC, she was commissioned as a Captain for the United States Air Force and was immediately accepted into the USAF Advanced General Dentistry Residency program. During this one-year residency she was named Top Resident in her Oral Surgery class. Upon completion of her residency, she spent the next five years practicing both general and cosmetic dentistry at The Pentagon/Bolling AFB in Washington DC and McGuire AFB in New Jersey.

When she completed her work with the Air Force in October 1999, Dr. Medici moved with her husband, also a former Air Force officer, to Andover, Massachusetts, where she began practicing as an Associate and ultimately warranted the position of a partner in one of the area’s most established practices. In 2004, she decided to open her own practice-The Art of Dentistry-with a focus on cosmetic dentistry. She worked diligently to further her training and education in the field of dentistry and when Dr. Medici’s husband accepted a position in 2007 that required them to relocate to DFW, she was eager to come home to Texas.
