Savvy Dental Surgical Microscopes

You may often see Dr. Doctor using surgical operating microscopes to enhance his ability to view clinical procedures.

Surgical operating microscopes have been used in the medical community for many years. More recently they were introduced into the dental profession, specifically for use in endodontic procedures (treatment of the tooth root and nerve). Surgical operating microscopes allow Dr. Doctor to perform treatment with great confidence on cases that once seemed impossible.

The degree of magnification depends on the combination of lenses that we utilize. Our microscopes have steps of magnification ranging from 3x to 27x and incorporate the use of a 150 watt halogen bulb connected to the microscope through high efficiency fiber optic cabling, to provide us an exceptional view of the operating site that is both highly magnified and brightly lit.
