First and foremost, Dr. Doctor is concerned about the health of your teeth, your gums and your bite. He wants to ensure that no disease or infection is present and that your occlusion (bite) is sound. The next priority, of course, is the appearance of your teeth. We offer a number of cosmetic dentistry treatments to enhance your smile. For some people, a combination of these is needed. This combination is called a smile makeover. Just as a makeup artist combines treatments to enhance your best facial features, Dr. Doctor is the artist of the smile makeover in Arlington. Read on to learn more about a smile makeover and the change one can make in your appearance and your self-confidence.

For most of us over the age of 30, silver fillings are something of the norm. It was commonly used up until the early 90’s and even now, is still used in many offices around the world. However, with the recent development of newer “tooth” colored materials, amalgam is quickly becoming a thing of the past. To further usher its way out the door, many articles have been posted proclaiming it as a health hazard. While mercury has been linked to health problems, the amounts used in dental amalgam pose no real threat to you. Even if you have silver fillings throughout your mouth, it is still not enough mercury to cause any real harm, unless of course you are allergic or are sensitive to the material! As a cosmetic dentist in Southlake, we offer both types of fillings.

If you want a whiter, straighter-looking smile, only one cosmetic dentistry service can help you achieve both—it’s call porcelain veneers. With porcelain veneers from Dr. Ravi Doctor’s Southlake or Arlington dental office, patients with chipped, cracked, stained, or misaligned teeth can finally enjoy a more dazzling smile with just one service.
What Are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are a revolutionary cosmetic dentistry service that’s changing lives and boosting patient confidence. But more specifically, veneers are thin shells of dental porcelain that are carefully designed and handcrafted for each patient. When they’re finished, they’re bonded to the front of your front teeth to hide imperfections like stains or misalignment.
Changing Smiles and Lives in Just Two Appointments
Transforming your smile and your life with porcelain veneers takes just two appointments. During the first appointment, Dr. Doctor will examine your smile, talk to you about what results you’d like to see, and will begin designing your veneers. Then, once your veneers have been finished, all that’s left for us to do is put them in place, hiding imperfections and drawing out the real you with your glamorous results.
Do you want to know more about porcelain veneers or one of our other cosmetic dentistry services? Call our office today. We serve patients from Southlake, Arlington, and all across the DFW metroplex.
