Perfecting Smiles with Porcelain Veneers in Southlake & Arlington
Four Anterior Gingivectomy
What Are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that are bonded directly to the anterior (front) surface of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving the smile and have become extremely popular due to their simplicity and versatility.
Placing custom veneers requires an advanced degree of technical skill as well as an artistic touch. Dr. Doctor designs each veneer individually to match and enhance the characteristics of each patient’s unique smile.
What Problems Can Porcelain Veneers Correct?
With porcelain veneers in Arlington and Southlake, we can help a patient take care of all of the following issues individually or at the same time:
Upper and Lower Anterior
Spacing Corrected with Veneers
- Misshapen teeth
- Undersized teeth
- Slightly rotated or crooked teeth
What is the Procedure Like?
Enhanced with Porcelain Veneers
If they are, the entire procedure will take about two to three visits to our office. At the first, he’ll remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth so that your veneers will lay flat, and then he’ll take an impression. This will be sent to a dental lab to fabricate your veneers from high-grade dental porcelain. Before you leave this appointment, Dr. Doctor will fit you with a set of temporary veneers so you can “test drive” your new smile.
When you return about a week or so later, he’ll remove the temporaries, bond your final veneers to your teeth, and check to make sure your bite is properly aligned. After a few final adjustments and making sure you love the results, your new smile will be ready for the world!
Will They Look Natural?
After they have been placed, ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable. For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options.
How Durable Are Porcelain Veneers?
We advise our patients to refrain from using their veneers for anything other than normal use. This includes to cut, rip, or tear any foreign objects, as accidental breakage or damage could occur. Fortunately, in case of an accident, replacing a veneer is quite simple. There is a five year warranty on all veneers placed in our office.
